What does it mean to be a band of orators? Are we a group of speakers who meet in our dad's garage to bang together some tunes (oops, debate cases??). Manus Oratorum means a band of orators....but do we have something to say? will we be an indie band with loyal followers...but no message?
Do you have a message worth debating about and laboring over? How will you use your gift of oratory for the maker's glory?
The two coaches of our club, Manus Oratorum, will post here irregularly when we have something to say of interest to the orator or speaker. Although to be honest, this blog was prompted by two people, my eldest daughter and my husband. My daughter determined that I would like sharing my thoughts with others ( I wasn't so sure, being an introvert, but if I have something to say, I will). My husband wanted a quick way to update our debaters with tips on articles to read that might help policy debaters for this year's NCFCA resolution:
Resolved: That the United States Federal Government should significantly reform its environmental policy.
We're also open to posts that aid the speaker and the value debater, since they, too, are orators!
