I must inform you that my views on excellence as a value have changed somewhat. I still believe that excellence can be extremely vague and unwieldy, but it doesn't have to be. (Arete ftw.) What I mean is, if you define excellence specifically, and know in your mind what you're supporting, (individual excellence/achievement, or an overall shared excellent state of being) than I think everything holds together.
We shall see. (Goes back to writing aff case.)
